FIRST LEGO League Robotics
The STEM Alliance runs several FIRST LEGO League teams made up of students in the Mamaroneck School District (MUFSD). The leagues started by FIRST, a global nonprofit organization, bring competitive robotics to thousands of students across the world. Teams participate in rigorous competitions and work to advance to regionals and nationals. It's the tech world's equivalent to a sports league.
Participating in competitive robotics gives kids all the benefits of athletic competition via a whole new platform. They are scored for sportsmanship, teamwork, endurance, patience, talent and, of course, tech savviness and innovation.
Joining a FIRST LEGO League team is a serious commitment!
