Shoreline Explorers After Care

When camp ends, the Mamaroneck harbor is waiting for learning, fun & friends!

About the Program

At Shoreline Explorers After Care (SEA Care), kids in grades 1 through 5 close out their summer days
at the harbor's edge, where the learning gets hands-on, the questions get big, and the friends get close.

Based in the Mamaroneck Marine Education Center, Shoreline Explorers is an aftercare program
built around the living, breathing ecosystem right outside our door. Kids will get up close with
live marine animals, sketch and record their discoveries in their own biology field notebooks,
and take on environmental scavenger hunts along the shoreline. They'll make art inspired by
the sea, dig into hands-on science experiments, and gather together for shared snack time at
the end of a well-spent afternoon.

Every day is a little different. Every day is a little wonderful.

Whether your child is drawn to the creatures in the tide pool, the colors of a horseshoe crab shell, or just the feeling of salt air after a long school day, Shoreline Explorers gives them a place to belong, a community of curious friends, and afternoons they'll actually remember.
