About the Marine Education Center
The Marine Education Center is a center of discovery located in Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck, New York, on the Long Island Sound. The center is open to anyone and creates moments of discovery with marine wildlife and artifacts from the Long Island Sound.
The STEM Alliance is honored to serve as the lead administrator of the Marine Education Center for the Village of Mamaroneck. Together, we are working to support and strengthen the Center’s mission of inviting discovery for all community members, sparking curiosity, connection, and commitment to our marine ecosystem.

Shoreline Explorers After-School
Fall Program
This fall, the shoreline becomes the classroom! 🔎🐟🦀
Give your child an afternoon filled with hands-on learning, new friendships, and plenty of outdoor fun at our Shoreline Explorers Afterschool Program at the Marine Education Center! From meeting live marine animals and exploring the shoreline to creating ocean-inspired art and discovering the world beneath the water, every day brings a new adventure.
K–2nd Grade | Wednesdays
